Tourism fair in Far West
With the objective of promoting local tourist spots, the Far Western Regional Tourism Festival is being held in Dadeldhura in the second week of November.

The Dadeldhura Chambers of Commerce and Industry (DCCI) is organizing the fair from November 9-18 at Tundikhel at the district headquarters.

The organizers said preparations for the 10-day festival were at the final stage with more than a dozen stalls already booked.

DCCI president Lokaraj Bhatta said more than 50,000 visitors were expected to attend the fair.

Prakash Saud, central member, said the festival was aimed at promoting tourism in the region besides developing the local religious and cultural heritage.

The celebration will feature a food festival, cultural programs, a national Deuda competition, comic performances, indigenous dances, a demonstration of daily appliances and a presentation about local tourist spots.
