Upon arrival we were welcomed by our guide Hom Nath, after which we were introduced to all the friendly staff. Everyone was willing to go beyond the call of duty to help us settle in. The welcome dinner proved to be one of the many highlights of trip. Naba made sure everyone was kept up to date with all the proceeding during our stay in Kathmandu, after personally escorting us to the airport he wished us well on our journey towards Everest.

Hom Nath and his team of sherpa’s and porters made sure everyday ran as smoothly as possible. The guides were an endless source of information, as we trekked through the Kumbu Valley, attending to all of our needs. Hom Nath made sure everyone was acclimatizing well, keeping a watchful eye on everyone’s progress. The fact that the entire group reached basecamp Everest can be attributed to Hom Nath role as the team leader, and the support he received from the other sherpa’s.
